Taunton Clean & Clear
Taunton Project Brief was driven by the Drinking Water Inspectorate to reduce the number of customer complaints of water quality within Taunton & surrounding areas.
The Treatment Works are located in the Cambrian Mountains. It treats raw water taken from two lakes, 4km North East of the works within the mountains some 210m higher.
Sewer upgrading: New gravity sewer and upsizing section of existing mains using pipebursting techniques.
Primarily located within the centre of Bridgwater, with numerous standalone projects being required to solve the discolouration, iron levels and quality issues.
