Potable and Waste Water Treatment Works
Potable Water is a most precious commodity - less than 1% of the water supply on
earth can be used for drinking water. Understandably therefore the quality of water
intended for human consumption is very strictly policed by guidelines including
those issued by the World Health Organisation (agreed in Geneva 1993) and European
Union (Directive 98/83/EC 1998).
All water companies have to maintain strict standards through their systems and
procedures to meet these demands. As the water industry represents a key specialism
for Lewis Civil Engineering we too have developed our own expertise in the production
and handling of potable water.
We have considerable experience with installation of equipment and systems necessary for the Purifying process incorporating softening filtration disinfection odour control chlorination.
All installations benefit from the latest technological advances in component parts.
